PBC supports the Terry family, who is planting a church in South Portland, Maine.

The following is from the Christ Fellowship Church website:

A “church plant” is an effort to grow a new church. It starts with a vision – the idea for a new church. The vision catches on as people begin to see themselves in this specific picture of God’s family. As the group grows in faith and in level of commitment, God is pleased to add to their number. The next thing you know, there is a group of people living their lives for Jesus Christ and gathering together to worship God. That’s when it starts to look like a church.

We are still in the early stages of planting Christ Fellowship. Scott Terry is sharing the vision and people are responding with interest. We have purchased the white church building at 7 Braeburn Avenue in South Portland and are holding worship services at 10:00am on Sunday mornings. By God’s grace we’re off to a good start.
