The Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:17-32) is a symbolic act of obedience in which believers commemorate the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ by partaking of unleavened bread as a representation of Christ’s body and the fruit of the vine as a representation of Christ’s blood. The Deacons oversee the preparation of the Lord’s Table for observance of the Lord’s Supper.
